WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – The Rams have placed wide receiver Puka Nacua (knee), offensive lineman Steve Avila (knee) and offensive lineman Joe Noteboom (ankle) on Injured Reserve.
The trio will miss at least the four games as a result. Those next four games for Los Angeles are at the Arizona Cardinals, hosting the San Francisco 49ers at home, at the Chicago Bears, and hosting the Green Bay Packers at home.
Additionally, the Rams also signed offensive linemen Dylan McMahon and Geron Christian to the active roster, and cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon to the practice squad. McMahon and Christian's arrivals come after the team signed veteran offensive lineman Ty Neskhe to its practice squad on Monday.
McMahon was a sixth-round pick out of North Carolina State in this year's NFL Draft by the Eagles and most recently on their practice squad. Christian most recently was with the Tennessee Titans and has played in 58 career games (25 starts) over six NFL seasons – three with the Washington Commanders (2018-2020), Houston Texans (2021, one game in 2023), Kansas City Chiefs (2022) and Cleveland Browns (nine games in 2023). He originally entered the NFL as a third-round pick out of Louisville by the Commanders in the 2018 NFL Draft.
