WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – The Rams have placed offensive lineman Jonah Jackson (shoulder) and defensive back John Johnson III (shoulder) on Injured Reserve.
Both players will miss at least the next four games as a result. Those next four games for Los Angeles will feature a divisional opponent in San Francisco 49ers at SoFi Stadium, a road trip to the Chicago Bears, back at home to face the Green Bay Packers, a bye week, and then a primetime matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Additionally, the Rams have signed offensive linemen Justin Dedich to the active roster and defensive back Quindell Johnson as a practice squad exception. The arrivals of both Dedich and Johnson come after a slew of injuries and IR additions announced by the team in Weeks 1 and 2 of the 2024 season.
Dedich was originally an undrafted free agent out of the University of Southern California (USC) and most recently on the Rams practice squad. Dedich appeared in 35 games in his Trojan tenure, starting 20 games (10 at right guard, 6 at left guard & 4 at center), bringing versatility to the Rams offensive line room. Johnson most recently was with the Chicago Bears, was originally signed by the Rams in 2023 as an undrafted free agent, waived, and then picked up by the Bears for the 2023 season. In 2023, Johnson appeared in 9 games with 1 interception.
