Newcomer update: Tyler Davis

With the offseason program complete and Rams Training Camp presented by UNIFY Financial Credit Union starting up on July 23, it's time to look ahead. As part of the preparation for training camp, theRams.com will be spotlighting a handful of players new to the Rams' roster. Continuing the series is defensive lineman Tyler Davis.

With the 196th overall pick in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Rams selected Clemson defensive lineman Tyler Davis. Take a look through the best photos of his first offseason in Los Angeles.

How He Got Here: The Rams selected Davis 196th overall out of Clemson in this year's draft.

What's Next: Continuing to learn the defense and earn a role in the defensive line rotation. Davis was one of multiple draft picks used by Los Angeles to address the defensive line, so similar to his classmates, building familiarity with that group and the assignments along the defensive line will be an important next step in his development, especially during training camp.

Bet You Didn't Know: In 2019, Davis became the first true freshman defensive tackle to start a season-opener for Clemson since 1974.

Quotable: "They some dogs. I admired them from a distance, played against them. Just to be able to have those teammates, knowing that I'm definitely going to get better." – Davis after being drafted, on teaming up with Jared Verse and Braden Fiske
