Rams celebrate leaders in LA advocating for justice, addressing disparities & inspiring change

In memory of Kenny Washington, the Los Angeles Rams launched the pLAymakers program. Through this program the Rams recognized 13 Los Angeles community members that exemplified leadership in advocating for justice, addressing disparities and inspiring change.

Michelle and Tammy founded Hate Is A Virus, a nonprofit that started as a local initiative supporting local Asian American small businesses, then evolved into an awareness campaign against the rise of anti-Asian hate crimes. Due to community needs, it evolved again into a nonprofit that aims to educate their community on their role in dismantling racism and hate.

Olympia Auset founded SÃœPRMARKT, a low-cost organic grocery which serves low-income communities in Los Angeles. SÃœPRMARKT has provided more than 70,000 pounds of organic fruit, veggies, and staples in South L.A. since its inception in July 2016.
