Sometimes the simplest forms of support mean the most for a person's confidence. For Taylor Bailey, a producer for the Rams' Studios team, that backing from mentors and peers has been a huge part in helping her get to where she is today.

"What's helped me the most in my career is the support I've received from the people around me," Bailey said. "There haven't always been a lot of people who look like me in this space, but the encouragement I've gotten from mentors and peers has been crucial. They've always told me to keep going, that my ideas and perspectives matter, and that I bring something different to the table. I've also found it helpful to stay curious, keep an open mind and push myself to try new things I might not have thought I could be capable of. This has been key to helping me keep pushing forward and believing in myself."

Bailey recently finished her fourth season with the Rams. Her role involves creating and capturing video content highlighting the football team, the organization's partners and the organization's brand campaigns.

"As I approach the end of my fourth season with the Rams, I'm incredibly proud to be part of a team that values boundless creativity," Bailey said. "We are constantly pushing the limits of what's possible to bring fresh, unique content to our fans. The collaborative and innovative environment here has been an amazing experience and has continually challenged me to grow in my craft."

That environment is a big part of what drives Bailey. She said that what motivates her is the team she gets to work with daily.

"Not only are they incredible people, but they're also some of the most talented creators I know," Bailey said. "The things we're able to achieve together always amaze me, and that pushes me to stay creative and think outside the box. It's a constant source of inspiration to see what we can accomplish."

Bailey said she is fortunate that her role with the Rams gives her lots of room for creative expression, but it's not just those work projects that serve as that outlet.Away from the stadium, the practice field, and Rams-related video shoots and sets, her vintage camera serves as her vehicle to channel it.

No matter which environment that is being done in, they both accomplish upholding an important personal value.

"Each project I work on is an opportunity to infuse my own vibe and personality, whether it's through the music I choose in my edits or the way I approach visual storytelling," Bailey said. "Outside of work, I also channel my creativity through my personal style and capturing the world through my lens. Music and fashion aren't just interests for me, they're an extension of who I am. I love that I can carry that authenticity into my professional life, especially in LA, where individuality is celebrated. You'll also often find me capturing memories with my vintage camera, whether I'm at a concert, traveling, or just hanging out with friends. Staying true to myself is something I value deeply, and I hope it inspires others to do the same. It's empowering to think that a young Black girl might see me at an NFL game, holding a camera and rocking my own style, and that it could encourage her to embrace her own creativity."

Setting an example in that manner also ties into how Bailey defines Inspire Change.

"To me, Inspire Change is about finding new ways to encourage growth and transformation, whether that's in the work we do or in the way we engage with each other," she said. "It's about shifting mindsets and behaviors to create positivity in our communities. Personally, I try to lead by example, learning from others and doing my part to inspire and educate the next generation. It's about making sure that the change we want to see starts with us."

For Bailey, Black History Month is "a time to celebrate our culture, reflect on how far we've come, and recognize the countless contributions of the Black community." That celebration, she said, should extend beyond February.

"We've overcome a lot, and that's part of our legacy, but we also continue to make history every year," Bailey said. "It's important to highlight our success, not just in February, but all year-round. We should continue to highlight the achievements, big and small, and support one another in our journey toward more excellence."

Bailey is one of the only Black women on the Rams video team. Her advice for other Black professionals trying to break into the same career space as her is to be true to oneself and not get discouraged by the lack of representation. That authenticity and determination will go a long way.

"While there may not always be people who look like you in this field, your voice and perspective are unique, valuable and can't be replicated," Bailey said. "Keep pushing forward, seek out people who support you, and trust that your path is important. At times it may feel tough, but breaking down barriers is part of the journey. Don't give up, because you're not just paving the way for yourself, you're paving the way for others like us."
