Rams & Make-A-Wish® Central Coast & Southern Central Valley raise funds to grant wishes for children battling life-threatening medical conditions

Coming off the Los Angeles Rams' bye week, the team and Make-A-Wish® Central Coast & Southern Central Valley (CVS) hosted the seventh annual "LA Rams Night for Wishes" charity event to raise funds to fulfill the wishes of local children battling life-threatening medical conditions. The event included a live auction and 'Tip Challenge' raising over $750,000 to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses.

"Make-A-Wish CVS is incredibly grateful to the LA Rams and our generous sponsors and supporters for coming together on such a special night to help make more wishes come true for critically ill children in our community," said Pattie Mullins, CEO, Make-A-Wish CVS.

The event featured a record-breaking attendance of over 450 guests including Rams offensive lineman Rob Havenstein, tight end Tyler Higbee, safety Quentin Lake and running back Kyren Williams as the fundraiser's captains. 2021 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year and Super Bowl LVI Champion Andrew Whitworth returned as the emcee for the programming and entertainment.

In addition to a reception and dinner, attendees had to opportunity to interact, get autographs, and take photos with Rams players including the 2024 Rookie Class as part of the 'Players Tip Challenge.' All proceeds from the challenge benefitted Make-A-Wish Central Coast and So. Central Valley. The event also featured a live painter who created a one-of-a-kind painting of Rams Head Coach Sean McVay that was included in the live auction.

"Rams Night for Wishes has been a pillar of the Rams community engagement for years," said Los Angeles Rams Executive Vice President of Community Impact and Engagement Molly Higgins. "We recognize our ability to help bring people together in a meaningful and fun way to generate funds to grant wishes of children battling life-threatening medical conditions, and we appreciate all the event supporters for their shared passion. We are also incredibly grateful to our players, especially Rob Havenstein, Tyler Higbee, Quentin Lake, and Kyren Williams, and their commitment to the Make-A-Wish mission."

To date, LA Rams Night for Wishes has sold out each year and raised more than $4 million to grant life-changing wishes for critically ill children in the community.

Rams Cheerleaders and mascot Rampage also were in attendance to support the fundraising efforts and interact with attendees. Generous sponsors of Make-A-Wish CVS, including Champion sponsor Kennedy Wilson, have made the event possible year after year.

The Los Angeles Rams are committed to supporting Make-A-Wish CVS beyond granting wishes by making memories and creating joy among wish kids and all attendees of the night. The Rams' relationship with Make-A-Wish started back in St. Louis and has continued since the team moved back to Los Angeles.
