The Los Angeles Rams will host the Dallas Cowboys for the team's first preseason game of the 2024 season, presented by Paramount+ available on YouTube at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, August 11 at 1:30 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast locally on KABC-7 and on radio on ESPN LA 710 AM. As part of the NFL’s ‘Play Football’ initiative, the Rams' gameday will feature youth football programs from Los Angeles playing on the field at SoFi Stadium during halftime.
The NFL celebrates youth and high school football year-round. Through camps, activities, NFL FLAG and tackle leagues, the Play Football initiative provides a fun and engaging experience for players of all ages and skill levels, equipping young people with key life skills that are building blocks to success on and off the field.
Sunday also will be the handoff from the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, when flag football will make its Olympic debut. It was previously announced by LA28 that SoFi Stadium will host the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and also will become the largest swimming venue in Olympic history.

RAMS GAMEDAY TO FEATURE SPECIAL GUESTS AND PERFORMANCES
- Halftime Youth Flag and Tackle Football Game: 14-year-old singer-songwriter and athlete ANNASOFIA DICKENS will serve as the youth correspondent as over 100 high school girls flag and youth tackle football players take the field. Playing on the number one ranked 14U OC Seals girls flag football team, Dickens won the USA Football National Championship and attended the Pro Bowl last year on behalf of the NFL. She also wrote and recorded a pop song with the dream of it becoming the NFL theme song for females in flag. Her dream became a reality when her song "We Run This House" was played in front of 60,000 people at the 2024 Pro Bowl.
- National Anthem: Singer and actor TYRESE GIBSON will sing the national anthem and the UNITED STATES AIRFORCE will present the colors. 100 Season Ticket Members will hold an 80-yard American flag on the field during the anthem. Gibson also will serve as the game's Rampede Captain.
- Pregame Performance: The Pomona Natives youth cheer team and the Solid Ikonic youth dance team will perform on the field during pregame from 1:10 p.m. - 1:17 p.m. PT.
- Legend of the Game: The late ROMAN GABRIEL will be recognized with a tribute video featured on the Infinity Screen during the first quarter. Gabriel leads the Rams franchise in passing attempts with 3,313 total attempts, passing touchdowns with 154, and wins by a starting quarterback with 74. During his renowned career, Gabriel also earned four Pro Bowl nods, a Comeback Player of the Year award, and was named NFL MVP in 1969. His son, Roman Gabriel III also will be interviewed on-field to highlight his father's legacy.
- Military Hero of the Game: Sergeant First Class (Ret.) RAFAEL "A-ROD" RODRIGUEZ will be surprised during the third quarter as the Military Hero of the Game. Sgt. Rodriguez joined the United States Army in 1996. Following his initial training, he was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment. After a few years with the 505th, Sgt. Rodriguez was reassigned to the 29th Infantry Division and deployed to Bosnia for a peacekeeping mission in 2000. During his deployment in Bosnia, the tragic events of September 11th unfolded, and he was deployed to Afghanistan. In 2003, Sgt. Rodriguez was transferred to the 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment for the invasion of Iraq. He undertook multiple deployments to Iraq in 2004-2005, 2005-2006, and 2007-2008. In early 2009, Sgt. Rodriguez deployed once more, this time with the 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment to Afghanistan, returning in early 2010. By October 2010, he had completed his military obligations and transitioned to civilian life, earning numerous commendations and awards.
- RISE with the Rams: For the seventh consecutive season, the Rams teamed up with RISE, a national nonprofit that educates and empowers the sports community to eliminate racial discrimination, champion social justice and improve race relations, for a season-long leadership and community-building program featuring local high school football programs with a cross-section of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. This year's program features tackle and, for the first time, girls flag football players from El Camino Real Charter High School and Thomas Jefferson Senior High. The program will culminate with the Rams hosting participants for a tour and session on being a champion of change at NFL Los Angeles – the league's West Coast headquarters at Hollywood Park - on Sunday. Following the event, students will enjoy the Rams vs. Cowboys game at SoFi Stadium.

- Early Entry Special: There will be early entry $5 beer specials at the Bud Light Backyard in Upper American Airlines Plaza from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. PT. Fans also can play tailgate games and win prizes.
- Activities for Fans: Rams Ramp'd Up area, the Button Bar, football pong and more will be available to fans in Upper American Airlines Plaza from the time gates open through kickoff.
- Rams Football Academy: Fans can visit the Rams Football Academy booth in upper American Airlines Plaza to learn about the exciting youth program and sign up for exclusive benefits and merchandise.
- Rams Land Kids Zone: Fans can enjoy a soft play area with a slide and foam pit, a tumbling space, a Rams House reading nook, a kids-edition bench press and a vertical leap in Upper American Airlines Plaza from the time entries open through the end of halftime. Kids of all ages can meet Rampage 15 minutes after gates open.
