INGLEWOOD, Calif. – With his 20-yard completion to Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp in Sunday's game against the Panthers, quarterback Matthew Stafford passed Hall-of-Famer John Elway for 11th all-time in regular season passing yards.
Stafford needed 158 entering Sunday's contest to move past Elway, who had 51,475 across his 16-year career with the Denver Broncos.
Stafford is one of four active quarterbacks to record more than 50,000 career passing yards. The completion to Kupp put him at 51,496.
