Kam Curl on his first season in L.A & the boost Cooper Kupp's hopeful return will bring to the Rams offense | Featured on Rams Revealed Ep. 123

The Los Angeles Rams are vying to win twice in a week at SoFi Stadium, and they're hoping the health of All-Pro wide receiver Cooper Kupp is the spark they need on offense. If that sounds like a familiar plot, it should; we saw this movie a year ago, didn't we?

Kam Curl had a front row seat.

Then a member of the Washington Commanders, the veteran safety and his defensive teammates struggled to contain Kupp in Week 15. The Rams won that Sunday afternoon, then again four days later on Thursday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints. They finished the back half of the schedule 7-1 and earned a playoff spot.

"Anytime Cooper Kupp is on the field, you've got to know where he is," Curl told us on this week's Rams Revealed. "He's a receiver but like he has a quarterback mind."

Out since suffering an ankle injury against the Cardinals in the second game of this season, Kupp appears increasingly likely to make his return against the Minnesota Vikings under the Thursday Night lights.

Curl joined Los Angeles in free agency this March and is coming off his best day in Royal and Sol. The 25-year-old (yes, he's younger than some rookies despite being in his fifth NFL season) scored on a 33-yard fumble recovery against the Las Vegas Raiders. Now, he and an emerging Rams defense that has created five takeaways and allowed only 39 points in their last two games will attempt to level up against a high-octane Vikings offense.

For more on Curl and a preview of a Week 8 prime time showdown that has the power to change the course of LA's season, we invite you to join us for a new episode of Rams Revealed and at SoFi Stadium for Thursday Night Football.
