How He Got Here: The Rams selected Whittington 213th overall out of Texas in this year's draft.

What's Next: Continuing to learn the offense and special teams. In terms of the former, one thing that helps Whittington is that he comes from an offense taught via concept-based learning, which is similar to how head coach Sean McVay teaches his system. As for the latter, he had a willingness to contribute in any capacity in that phase throughout his college career, which should help as his role on special teams is determined.

Bet You Didn't Know: Whittington was an all-state performer at wide receiver, defensive back, kick returner and as an all-purpose player at Cuero (Texas) High.

Quotable: "The neat thing is from the moment you walk in that building ... there was one thing that everyone said, 'Jordan's our heartbeat.' He's one of those guys that…and Sark does a nice job. Sean knows this on offense. He knew all three positions, was willing to be the third, the fourth, played all the core on special teams. So it's kind of one of those key core guys that you draft with a vision and more than likely has a role here." – Rams GM Les Snead on Whittington after Day 3 of the draft

With the 213th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Rams selected University of Texas wide receiver Jordan Whittington. Take a look through the best photos of his first offseason in Los Angeles.
