VAN NUYS, Calif. – The Rams have traded up to the 148th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft to select defensive lineman Ty Hamilton out of Ohio State.
The 6-foot-3, 299-pound defensive lineman totaled 116 total tackles, 8 sacks and 14 tackles for loss over four seasons for the Buckeyes, during which he played in 54 games. Last season, he collected career-highs in all three of those stats, with 51 tackles, 3.5 sacks and 6.0 tackles for loss. He earned All-Big Ten honorable mention honors in 2023 and 2024.
He will join Kobie Turner, Braden Fiske, Poona Ford, Larrell Murchison, David Olajiga, Tyler Davis, Desjuan Johnson and Jack Heflin on the Rams' defensive line.
