Injury Report 11/6: Cooks ruled out, Matthews returns to practice as Rams prepare for Steelers

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Rams WR Brandin Cooks (concussion) has been ruled out in advance of Sunday's game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

Cooks did not participate in Wednesday's practice and hasn't cleared concussion protocol yet, according to Rams head coach Sean McVay. McVay also said Cooks is scheduled to make a second visit with concussion specialists in Pittsburgh on Thursday after making one during Los Angeles' Week 9 bye.

Meanwhile, LB Clay Matthews returned to practice as a limited participant. Matthews has been sidelined for L.A.'s last three games due to a broken jaw sustained against Seattle in Week 5. It was his first time practicing in a month.

For the Steelers, starting RB James Conner (shoulder) was a limited participant. He did not play in the Steelers' 26-24 win over the Colts last week. Pittsburgh's running back room as a whole is dealing with injuries, as Benny Snell Jr. (knee) and Trey Edmunds (ribs) did not practice Wednesday.

Below are the full injury reports for both teams.
