WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) and cornerback Cobie Durant (chest) have officially been ruled out for Thursday Night Football against the 49ers at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara (5:15 p.m. PT, Amazon Prime Video nationally and FOX11 locally).
Head coach Sean McVay on Monday said Durant's status could potentially impact whether cornerback Emmanuel Forbes Jr. – claimed off waivers from the Commanders last week – would make his Rams debut this week. Thus, with Durant ruled out, it's possible Forbes could be active tomorrow night against the 49ers.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Demarcus Robinson (shoulder) and offensive lineman Beaux Limmer (knee) are among six players listed as questionable for Thursday night's game. Regarding Robinson, McVay said Monday, "the hope is that it shouldn't affect his status (for Thursday)."
For the 49ers, defensive end Nick Bosa (hip/oblique), running back Isaac Guerendo (foot) and linebacker Dre Greenlaw (knee) are among four players listed as questionable. San Francisco ruled out guard Ben Bartch (ankles) and rookie safety Malik Mustapha (chester/shoulder); Mustapha had seen an increased role in recent weeks.
