WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson (ankle) and outside linebacker Jared Verse (foot) are listed as questionable, but head coach Sean McVay said Friday he expects both players to play Sunday against the Bills (1:25 p.m. PT, FOX).
McVay said Verse "tweaked his ankle," and that they were just "erring on the side of caution" in terms of each player's participation in practice this week.
McVay also said tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) won't play Sunday. Higbee was later officially ruled out on the injury report.
"For him to even be out there at this point is a real credit to him," McVay said. "And so, knowing that when you start that window, we always kind of knew that we wanted to probably give him close to that full (three-week) allotment of time before you ended up getting him back out there. Having two weeks now has been really good. Obviously we approach the Thursday game a little bit different in regards to those practice settings, so we'll see if that represents the opportunity for him to get out there and be a part of it."
For the Bills, wide receiver Keon Coleman (wrist) and tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) are among five players listed as questionable for the contest.
