Rams defensive end Braden Fiske was named the NFL Rookie of the Month on Thursday for his performance in November.
Over a four-game span, Fiske accumulated five sacks, four tackles for loss, a forced fumble and five quarterback hits to go along with 11 total tackles. Only two other rookies have reached five sacks over the course of the entire season.
According to Pro Football Focus, Fiske collected the fourth-most pressures among rookies during November (13), and the most for an interior defensive lineman. He also managed nine defensive stops, which is tied for second over that span behind his teammate, outside linebacker Jared Verse, who won the award in September.
Overall, Fiske has racked up 35 tackles, six sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, eight tackles for loss and six quarterback hits.
Fiske is the seventh Rams rookie to receive Rookie of the Month honors and just the third defensive player.
