The Rams remain healthy through two days of the practice week.
Left tackle Andrew Whitworth and center John Sullivan did not participate in Thursday's session — but that's par for the course, with the two receiving their usual rest days. Outside linebacker Dante Fowler also did not practice on Thursday, but for non-injury related reasons.
For the other side, however, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Thursday morning that Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has a fractured vertebrae in his back and is unlikely to play in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
"They haven't officially ruled him out, so you can't say anything for certain. You see and you hear the reports that are out there. But like we said, whether it's Carson or whether it's Nick Foles — it doesn't really change our approach, our urgency for us to be able to get ready to go against the defending world champs."
Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips echoed McVay's sentiment, saying Philadelphia backup quarterback Nick Foles potentially starting doesn't alter much in terms of Los Angeles' preparation.
"A lot of talk about the quarterback — obviously we're getting ready for Wentz. If he doesn't play, it doesn't change their offense a whole lot," Phillips said. "Their next quarterback was the MVP of the Super Bowl. So there's not a big drop-off for them either. But their plays are basically the same. It's the same routes, same running game — that kind of thing — when Foles went in. So they still have a lot of weapons."
Elsewhere on the Eagles' injury report, defensive lineman Michael Bennett did not practice for the second day in a row with a foot injury. Philadelphia's defense in particular has dealt with a number of injuries throughout the season, with eight of the unit's players currently on injured reserve.
