The Rams' 2024 preseason schedule wraps up with a road game against the Texans at NRG Stadium in Houston on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 10 a.m. pacific time on Rams TV affiliate ABC7.
Here are five players fans should be watching during the contest:
Smith is coming off of a strong performance against the Chargers in which he showcased not only his abilities as a returner, but also his reliability as a target in the passing game.
While Scott is a veteran, he is included in this because head coach Sean McVay said the running back is due for a heavy workload against the Texans.
After McCollough's performance against the Chargers last week, McVay said he's "not surprised anymore" by his level of play, noting his consistency, demeanor and physical and mental toughness. McCollough will get another chance to show that on Saturday.
Jackson has yet to play in the preseason because of a soft tissue injury he's been dealing with, but he's been practicing this week. If he does end up playing, it will be good to see what he can show at edge.
Wallace was among the handful of names mentioned by McVay competing for the fourth spot in the cornerback rotation. The preseason finale will provide another chance for him to state his case for the job.
