HOUSTON – The progression for Matthew Stafford (hamstring tightness) continued in a positive direction this week, as the Rams quarterback was a full participant in Thursday's joint practice with the Texans.
"It was a full day for him," Rams head coach Sean McVay said post-practice. "It was good. We prefer him not to have to hand off backwards on a couple of those. But because of the progression, he wanted to get the work in, and and I thought really their (Texans) overall etiquette in terms of staying away from him was really good. And I was pleased with the way that our line competed."
In other injury news regarding Los Angeles starters, McVay said they expect offensive lineman Jonah Jackson (shoulder) to "work back" in next week. The plan for Jackson this week has been limiting his participation to individual drills.
McVay said the expectation is for defensive back Darious Williams to also start working back in next week.
