3 Keys to Winning for the Rams against the Cardinals in Week 2: Keeping Kyler Murray contained, eyes on other offensive playmakers, remaining aggressive

The Rams return to the road this week with a trip to Arizona to face the Cardinals on Sunday at State Farm Stadium (1:05 p.m. PT, FOX).

In advance of the contest, here are 3 Keys to Winning for the Rams.

1) Limit Kyler Murray's playmaking inside and outside of the pocket

The Cardinals quarterback can execute when the pocket remains clean, but he's also capable of generating explosive plays while passing or scrambling when flushed out of it.

In that regard, it's important not only for the Rams' defensive front to stay disciplined with keeping containment for Murray, but also their secondary for not losing track of receivers when those off-schedule plays arise.

2) Limit Conner, McBride, Harrison Jr. and Dortch's impact

Running back James Conner, tight end Trey McBride and wide receiver Greg Dortch were the three most productive skill players for Arizona's offense against the Buffalo Bills last week; Conner had the best game statistically with 83 total yards of offense (50 rushing, 33 receiving) and one touchdown.

And of course, rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.'s one catch for four yards will likely be viewed as an outlier performance by the end of the regular season; he should have the attention of Los Angeles' defense as well.

Minimizing those four players' impact on the game will be crucial.

3) Start fast, and sustain it

The Cardinals jumped out to a 17-3 lead in the first half against the Bills last week, only for Buffalo to rally and score 21 unanswered to gain the lead.

While the game reflected a tale of two distinctly different halves, especially for Arizona's offense, it's critical for Los Angeles to get off to a fast start and remain aggressive, given what the Cardinals showed in the first half.
