2025 NFL Draft: Best players available at Rams' positions of need heading into Day 2

VAN NUYS, Calif. – Round 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft concluded without the Rams using their 26th overall pick, which they traded to the Falcons along with pick No. 101 in exchange for picks No. 46 and 242 as well as a 2026 first-round selection.

For Rounds 2 and 3, they're scheduled to be on the clock at pick No. 46 overall in the second round, and then at No. 90 overall in the third round.

Here's a look at some of the top prospects remaining at positions of need for Los Angeles, according to experts:

Cornerback

  1. Will Johnson, Michigan: 6-foot-2, 194 pounds; Johnson was a 2023 First Team All-American and 2024 Second Team All-American with six interceptions in 18 games over the past two seasons.
  2. Trey Amos, Ole Miss (pictured): 6-foot-1, 195 pounds; Amos was a 2024 First Team All-SEC selection who totaled three interceptions and 13 passes defended last season.
  3. Azareye'h Thomas, Florida State: 6-foot-1 1/2, 197 pounds; Thomas was an honorable mention on the All-ACC team after a 52-tackle, one-interception season in 2024.

Inside linebacker

  1. Carson Schwesinger, UCLA: 6-foot-2 1/2, 242 pounds; Schwesinger's 90 solo tackles led the FBS, and his 136 combined tackles ranked third en route to a First-Team All-American selection.
  2. Danny Stutsman, Oklahoma: 6-foot-3, 233 pounds; Led the Sooners in total tackles in 2024 (110) and 2023 (104), and was a Second Team All-American last season.
  3. Jeffrey Bassa, Oregon: 6-foot-1, 232 pounds; Bassa had 55 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks last season, and was an All-Big Ten honorable mention.

Tight end

  1. Mason Taylor, LSU: 6-foot-5, 251 pounds; Taylor's 55 receptions and 546 receiving yards were both career-highs in 2024 and earned him a Third Team All-SEC selection. He's the most productive tight end in LSU history with 1,308 yards over three seasons.
  2. Elijah Arroyo, Miami: 6-foot-5, 250 pounds; Arroyo started all 13 games he played, totaling 35 catches for 590 yards and seven touchdowns, earning Second Team All-ACC honors.
  3. Terrance Ferguson, Oregon: 6-foot-5, 247 pounds; Ferguson set career-highs in receptions (43) and yards (591) last season and is Oregon's all-time program leader for receptions and receiving touchdowns (16) among tight ends.
