How He Got Here: The Rams traded up in the second round of this year's draft to select Fiske 39th overall out of Florida State.

What's Next: Continuing to learn the defense and build on chemistry with Jared Verse. One of the reasons drafting Fiske was so appealing to the Rams was what he and Verse were able to accomplish as a tandem along the Seminoles' defensive front. Obviously there was no live contact or pads during OTAs, so when that time comes in training camp, it will be an important one for Fiske – not only for building on that chemistry, but also gaining a better understanding of what Los Angeles aims to accomplish defensively.

Bet You Didn't Know: Heading into the 2023 college football season, Fiske was ranked as the top defensive lineman in the transfer portal by 247Sports and On3.

Quotable: "It's cool just to build up that and what we can implement on this defense. I think there's a lot of opportunities for us to come here and succeed, and I'm just excited for how much more we can grow as a unit. Having that bond with me and him, it's something we've both been chasing, we're both super hungry for what we're going after out there. I think it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm excited to see where we get to. It's gonna be real cool." – Fiske on teaming up with Verse again as they begin their NFL careers

In Round 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft with the No. 39 overall pick, the Los Angeles Rams selected defensive tackle Braden Fiske out of Florida State University. Take a look through the best photos of his first offseason in the NFL.
