With the offseason program complete and Rams Training Camp presented by UNIFY Financial Credit Union starting up on July 23, it's time to look ahead. As part of the preparation for training camp, theRams.com will be spotlighting a handful of players new to the Rams' roster. Continuing the series is offensive lineman Beaux Limmer.

How He Got Here: The Rams selected Limmer 217th overall out of Arkansas in this year's draft.

What's Next: Continuing to learn the offense. Limmer played across the interior with the Razorbacks, with games played at left guard, right guard and center. Center is especially notable, given the Rams lost both of their centers from last year's 53-man roster this offseason. There's a clear path to Limmer becoming the backup to Steve Avila, which places added importance on becoming more familiar with the playbook over the course of training camp and later the preseason.

Bet You Didn't Know: Limmer's 39 bench press reps were the most by any player at this year's NFL Scouting Combine.

Quotable: "Best case scenario. I mean, he played what I did at a super high level, and he's gonna be able to catapult me into the next level I'm trying to go to, and teach me all the in and outs of the position. He knows it because he played it. Super blessed and super excited to be coached by Coach Wendell." – Limmer after being drafted by the Rams, on working with offensive linen coach Ryan Wendell who played center for 8 NFL seasons.
