The Los Angeles Rams Black History Month celebration honors Kenny Washington's jersey number at "Threaded Through History" exhibit experience in partnership with The Kinsey Collection at SoFi Stadium.

Threaded through the fabric of Rams history are stories of pioneers & legends. The common thread begins with Kenny Washington. The Los Angeles Rams are celebrating his legacy by recreating authentic versions of his 1946-48 jersey. Limited quantities of the jersey will be available for purchase on February 16th.

In honor of Kenny Washington, the first Black player to reintegrate the NFL, and Black History Month, the Los Angeles Rams hosted a special premiere at Miracle Theatre in Inglewood, CA for the film Kingfish: The Story of Kenny Washington. Following the screening, guests in attendance were able to listen to a panel discussion about the film and the overall impact of Kenny Washington.

Los Angeles Rams Community Affairs Engagement Executive and former UCLA Bruins running back Johnathan Franklin talks about the barrier-breaking impact of former Rams running back Kenny Washington reintegrating the NFL in 1946. The Rams worked with Black-owned agency The Blk Originals to produce Kingfish: The Kenny Washington Story to tell the story of Kenny's historic impact.

NFL Network's Steve Wyche describes Jackie Robinson's connection to Kenny Washington & Woody Strode, who reintegrated the NFL when they began playing for the Rams.
