Signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an unrestricted free agent (3/15/24)... Selected by the Detroit Lions in the third round (75th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.
College: Jackson transferred from Rutgers to Ohio State for his final collegiate season in 2019 and started 14 games. He was part of an offensive line that blocked for Running Back J.K. Dobbins as he rushed for a team-high 2,049 yards and 21 touchdowns on 301 carries. He started 11-of-12 games played at right guard and was part of an offensive line that ranked second in the Big Ten and 19th nationally with only 1.33 sacks allowed per game. Jackson earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors by the coaches and media that season. In 2017, Jackson saw action in six games (five starts) at center and also saw time at right guard. He played in all 12 games as a member of the protection unit on field goals and saw some time at right guard in 2016. Jackson redshirted as a true freshman at Rutgers in 2015.
Personal: Jackson played mostly left tackle and defensive tackle in high school and had the responsibility of protecting the blind side in Penncrest High School's pistol offense. He was named First-Team All-Delaware County and All-Central Athletic League as a senior. Jackson majored in criminal justice and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors all four years during his time at Rutgers.
