The Rams have agreed to terms with cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon on a one-year deal, it was announced Wednesday.
This will mark Witherspoon's third stint with Los Angeles. Last season, the Rams signed him to their practice squad on Sept. 11, then to the active roster more than a month later. He finished with 31 total tackles, nine passes defensed and one interception while starting in five of 13 games played by the end of the 2024 regular season.
The 2025 season will mark the 29-year-old Witherspoon's ninth overall in the NFL and third with the Rams. He originally entered the NFL as a third-round draft pick (66th overall) by the San Francisco 49ers out of Colorado in 2014.
