Kam Kinchens' strong performance against the Patriots has garnered him conference-wide recognition once again.
The Rams safety earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 11, it was announced by the league on Wednesday. It is Kinchens' second time winning the award this season; he also won it for Week 9.
Kinchens became the first defensive rookie since 2019 (49ers' Nick Bosa) to win the award twice in a season. Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud (offensive) won it multiple times last season.
Kinchens also became the first rookie since Brian Cushing in 2009 to win the award twice in a three-game span (Weeks 6 & 8 with Houston).
Kinchens' fourth-quarter interception clinched a 28-22 Rams victory at New England. He also finished as the third-leading tackler on L.A.'s defense with eight total (one for loss), along with one pass defensed and one forced fumble in the win.
The former Miami (Fla.) standout's pick brought him to three interceptions on the season, second-most among all Rams defensive players behind fellow rookie safety Jaylen McCollough's four.
