The Rams last Thursday signed Davante Adams to a two-year deal.
Here are five things fans should know about Los Angeles' newest wide receiver:

1) Top five among NFL's active leaders in career receiving yards, touchdowns
A 11-year NFL veteran, Adams enters Year 12 overall and Year 1 with the Rams fifth among active players in career receiving yards with 11,844, trailing only Travis Kelce (12,151), Mike Evans (12,684), DeAndre Hopkins (12,965) and Julio Jones (13,703).
In terms of career receiving touchdowns, his 103 place him second behind Evans' 105.
2) Consistently clearing 1,000 receiving yards
Adams arrives in Los Angeles riding five-consecutive 1,000 receiving-yard seasons, tied for the second-longest active streak in the NFL.
3) Regarded as one of the best overall moves of the first week of free agency
ESPN NFL analyst Matt Bowen and national NFL reporter Lindsey Thiry picked the Rams signing Adams as one of best overall moves from free agency week.
"He's an upgrade over Cooper Kupp on his new two-year deal, as Adams can get loose against press coverage and create separation to the ball," Bowen writes. "Opposite Puka Nacua, Adams can win one-on-one as the "X" receiver, plus he will be schemed to attack zone voids off motion and in play-action. This is a really good fit for Sean McVay's offense."
"After retaining Matthew Stafford with a reworked contract, the addition of Adams provides Stafford a 1-2 punch along with Nacua," Thiry writes. "For a team that missed the NFC Championship Game by a mere play last season, the addition of Adams should be enough to help bring another deep playoff run."
4) Rare company
Adams is one of two players in NFL history to register at least 950 receptions, 11,000 yards and 100 touchdowns in his first 11 seasons, joining Marvin Harrison Sr.
5) Close to home
Playing in Los Angeles brings Adams closer to his hometown of East Palo Alto, Calif., which is a big deal to him.
"I'm a really simple dude," Adams said in his introductory press conference last week. "My family and friends mean a lot to me so being able to have them have easy access to me out here, it's a good feeling for me just knowing I get to have that support, keep it real tight and stay close to family."
