Oracio Galindo is entering his ninth season with the Los Angeles Rams as Head of Employee Experience. Partnering with the executive leadership team, Galindo offers strategic and hands-on counsel on a diverse range of people-related matters, including organizational development, employee relations, coaching and development, performance and talent management, compensation, conflict management, and HR legal compliance.
Galindo strategically develops equitable programs, systems, and policies designed to attract, retain, engage, and develop diverse talent that contribute to the overall growth of the club's brand, revenue, and fandom initiatives. He is dedicated to fostering a culture of belonging and well-being, empowering employees to thrive and advance within the organization.
Galindo has been instrumental in transforming the Rams benefits offerings, introducing a suite of innovative programs that enhance the overall employee experience. Notable initiatives include unlimited time off, universal bonus eligibility, a comprehensive tuition assistance program, a robust 401(k) contribution plan, and fertility care and assistance.
During his tenure, the Los Angeles Rams have garnered acclaim as one of the most diverse teams in the NFL. The Rams rank in the top 10% of all NFL teams in terms of racial and gender diversity across the organization. In 2023, Sports Business Journal recognized the Rams as one of the industry's best places to work, highlighting the organization's commitment to diversity and employee satisfaction.
Prior to joining the Rams, Galindo served as the Vice President of Employee Relations and Labor Relations for Tribune Publishing, a media company employing 8,000 employees across the country. During his tenure, he led a staff of 25 human resources professionals in driving transformational and organizational changes across 10 major newspapers. Before his work with Tribune Publishing, he served in various senior leadership roles with other organizations such as the Los Angeles Times, Sony Music Entertainment, Starbucks Coffee, and Red Bull.
A native of Los Angeles, California, Galindo earned an undergraduate degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University and a master's in human resource development from Claremont Graduate University.
Galindo is a founding board member and currently serves as the Chair of the Governing Board for the Pro Sports Assembly, the association for professional sports business leaders.
Galindo married his wife, Gladys Limon, in September of 2016. She currently serves as the Director of Climate and Environmental Justice at the State Energy and Environmental Impact Center at NYU Law School. Oracio, Gladys, and their two sons, Cristian and Emilio, reside in Ventura County.
