Michael Pierce is in his tenth season with the Rams and eighth as an area scout. In his role, he is primarily responsible for the eastern region of the southeast, covering states such as Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
In his first two seasons with the Rams, he was responsible for several positional cross checks, organizing free agent workouts and assisting with draft meetings.
Prior to joining the Rams, Pierce served as a personnel assistant for the Reese's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., where he evaluated the top NFL Draft Eligible prospects and assisted in game week operations and the organization of various community outreach initiatives.
Pierce spent six years at Bayside Academy in Daphne, Ala, where he coached football, baseball and taught pre-algebra. On the football field, he coached defensive backs, wide receivers and special teams. At Bayside, Pierce helped guide the Admirals to their first winning season, going undefeated in the regular season, and earning a playoff berth along with playoff victory.
A native of Daphne, Ala., Pierce earned a degree in business administration from the University of South Alabama.
Pierce and his wife, Trenelle, got married in December 2022 and reside in Atlanta, Ga.
