Michael Pierce is in his ninth season with the Rams and seventh as an area scout. In his role, he is primarily responsible for the eastern region of the southeast, covering states such as Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
In his first two seasons with the Rams, he was responsible for several positional cross checks, organizing free agent workouts and assisting with draft meetings.
Prior to joining the Rams, Pierce served as a Personnel Assistant for the Reese's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., where his duties included evaluating the top NFL Draft Eligible prospects, game week operations and assisting in the organization of various community outreach initiatives.
Pierce spent six years at Bayside Academy in Daphne, Ala, where he coached football, baseball and taught pre-algebra. On the football field, he coached defensive backs, wide receivers and special teams. While at Bayside, Pierce helped guide the Admirals to their first winning season, undefeated regular season, playoff berth, and playoff victory.
A native of Daphne, Ala., Pierce earned a degree in business administration from the University of South Alabama.
Pierce and his wife, Trenelle, got married in December 2022 and reside in Atlanta, Ga.
