The 2024 season marks Daniel August's ninth season with the Los Angeles Rams and his third as Executive Vice President of Consumer Revenue and Strategy.
In his role, August is involved with key strategic initiatives and oversees ticketing, gameday operations, gameday analytics as well as relationships with food & beverage and retail partners. Areas of ticketing include strategy/planning, analytics, sales, operations, suites and guiding the Rams premium ticketing experience on gamedays and year-round.
In his first six seasons with the Rams, August focused on key business ventures and major strategic initiatives for the club, which included ticketing strategy and planning, gameday experience, concessions, digital media, consumer products and analytics.
Prior to joining the Rams, August worked for the NFL league office in New York City for eight years. Over his final two years, he served as Head of Strategic Marketing and Planning, after working for six years in finance, the last as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. During his tenure at the NFL headquarters, August served on major projects, including the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), NFL Ticket Exchange, apparel and e-commerce deals, International Series expansion, Veteran Combine, NFL Newborn Fan Club and Pro Bowl.
Before entering the sports arena, August served as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley. August received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College in 2007 and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2014.
He is married to Joanna Hunter August, who works in corporate affairs for the Rams. They have two daughters, Leah and Isabella.
