Chance Trickett is going into his ninth season with the Los Angeles Rams, joining the team's scouting department in 2016. He served a scouting assistant for two seasons before moving to the Mountain Auxiliary region in 2018 and overseeing the Northeast region including North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota in 2020.
Before becoming an NFL scout, Trickett served as the Director of Recruiting at Louisiana Tech University for two years (2015- 2016). During his time at Louisiana Tech, Trickett oversaw all administrative duties related to football recruiting and the day-today administration of the football office as assigned by the head coach.
Trickett's efforts in recruiting and administration set the foundation for an undefeated bowl season in 2019, and two players being selected in the NFL draft.
From 2014-2015, Trickett served as a recruiting assistant at Florida State University and worked to produce the No. 2 ranked class in 2015.
Trickett earned his bachelor's degree from Florida State and is a graduate of the Reece's Senior Bowl Scout School. He and his wife, Ashley, and their two sons, Tristan and Matthew, currently reside in Jacksonville, FL.
