(On how he might fit in with Rams defensive coordinator Wade Phillips' scheme)
"I feel good about it because that really works to my game because I can be an outside linebacker and just rush the passer. That's what I do best."

(On if he got chance to talk to Phillips and what they told him when they called him)
"They just asked me if I was ready to be a Ram, and I was like, 'Hell yeah.' That was my first visit too. I was just ecstatic. I had a gut feeling that it would be them to take me and I'm just blessed right now. I just can't wait to get to work."

(On if he had any conversation with Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp after he was taken)
"No I did not. I was just happy for him because he deserves it. When he got picked by them I was like, 'Yeah, that's the perfect team.' Then I thought to myself, what are the chances I get picked by the same team? And it just happened and I was like, 'Woah, Eagles really do stick together.' That's awesome."

(On what he thinks about two Eastern Washington players getting drafted and what that says about their program)
"It just shows the work that we put in, honestly. It's unfortunate that we didn't get to go to any championships, but all the work that we put in in the offseason is really paying off right now."

(On what he can tell Rams fans about Kupp)
"He just grinds basically kind of like I did. We worked out sometimes and sometimes I'm just like 'Damn, this is the only person that I know on the team that can work as hard as me and not complain.' So yeah, he just doesn't complain. He just does things that everybody else's team is doing on the offensive side."
