On Sunday, the Rams overcame a 24-16 deficit in the first half to beat the Cowboys 35-30 at AT&T Stadium. Los Angeles was led by kicker Greg Zuerlein who coverted seven field goals on the night and running back Todd Gurley, who recorded 215 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown.
The former Georgia standout has had a historic start to the season, becoming the third running back in history to generate more than 575 yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns in the first four games. Following his dominant performance in Week 4, Gurley called in to Direct TV's The Rich Eisen Show to discuss the team win.
First up, Gurley talked about the team's 3-1 record and how effective the Rams' offense has been through four games. He also touched on head coach Sean McVay's coaching style and the impact the coaching staff has had on his production.
Gurley and Eisen then discussed the process of bringing a football team back to Los Angeles and Gurley shared his message for Rams fans heading into Sunday's game against the Seahawks. The pair also talked about Gurley's prediction for the Rams vs. Cowboys game — following Week 3's 41-39 victory over the Niners — where the running back jokingly told former Cowboys' receiver and Hall of Famer Michael Irvin, that the Rams "we're gonna whoop up on your 'Boys.'"
