The postseason opener is set.
The Rams will host the Vikings on Monday, January 13 at 5 p.m. pacific time at SoFi Stadium, with ESPN/ABC televising the contest.
Los Angeles slid to the NFC's No. 4 seed following their loss to the Seahawks on Sunday at SoFi Stadium and the Buccaneers' win over the Saints. The Vikings dropped to the No. 5 seed as a result of their loss to the Lions Sunday night.
It marks a rematch of the Week 8 Thursday Night Football thriller that the Rams won 30-20. Quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 25 of 24 pass attempts for 279 yards and four touchdowns against one interception in one of his best performances of the season, while outside linebacker paced L.A.'s pass rush with 1.5 sacks.
The Rams and Vikings met seven times in the playoffs previously; the Vikings lead the postseason series 5-2. They haven't faced each other in the playoffs since January 16, 2000, a 49-37 Rams victory in the divisional round.
Minnesota finished 14-3 and second in the NFC North.
