The Rams have tendered one of their two restricted free agents, giving defensive tackle Dominique Easley the original-round tender. By doing so, the Rams have the right of first refusal for any contract offer Easley receives from another team.
A 2014 Patriots first-round pick, Los Angeles signed Easley last May and integrated him into its defensive line rotation. The defensive tackle, who struggled through injuries in his first two NFL seasons, played all 16 games in 2016, recording career highs in sacks (3.5) and tackles (50).
