THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – After adding one running back via the draft, the Rams have done so again via free agency.
Los Angeles on Wednesday signed Boston Scott to a 1-year deal.
Scott, 29, spent the first six seasons of his NFL career (2018-2023) with the Philadelphia Eagles. After appearing in two games as a rookie in 2018, he was a regular part of their running back rotation from 2019-2022, recording 282 carries for 1,209 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns, plus 67 receptions for 514 yards and one touchdown while playing in 58 games (12 starts).
Overall, Scott has tallied 302 carries for 1,295 yards and 16 touchdowns with 71 receptions for 566 yards and one touchdown across 75 career games (12 starts).
He originally entered the NFL as a sixth-round draft pick out of Louisiana Tech by the New Orleans Saints in 2018, spending the majority of his rookie year on their practice squad before being signed off of it by the Eagles in early December that year.
