Rams rookies Jared Verse, Beaux Limmer, and Josh Wallace join Shoes That Fit to provide new athletic shoes to more than 300 students at Tarzana Elementary School

In honor of Giving Tuesday, the Los Angeles Rams and nonprofit Shoes That Fit teamed up for the third year in a row to provide new athletic shoes to more than 300 students at Tarzana Elementary School in Tarzana, CA.

Debra Moton, Head of Sports and Entertainment at Shoes That Fit, said, "It's very important these kids feel special, that they can run faster, jump higher, and that they feel a part of the community."

Shoes That Fit, a national nonprofit organization based in Claremont, CA, tackles one of the most visible signs of poverty in America by giving children in need new athletic shoes to attend school with dignity and joy, prepared to learn, play, and thrive. Named a California Nonprofit of the Year in 2017, Shoes That Fit delivered new athletic shoes to approximately 180,000 children in more than 1,900 schools across all 50 states last year alone.

"This means so much," said Hlib Halias, a student at Tarzana Elementary School. "It makes an impact on our lives".

"Just seeing the smiles across their faces when they get new shoes, it means more than I can say, " said Verse.

Last year, the Rams and Shoes that Fit provided new athletic shoes to 500 students at 99th Street Elementary School in Watts, CA in honor of Giving Tuesday.
