Injury Updates: McVay says 'we'll see' whether Tyler Higbee makes season debut Week 15 at 49ers; Cobie Durant sustained lung contusion and Demarcus Robinson shoulder sprain vs. Bills

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – Rams head coach Sean McVay on Monday said "we'll see" whether tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) makes his 2024 season debut this Thursday against the 49ers (5:15 p.m. PT, Amazon Prime Video).

"I don't have a great sense of it," McVay said Monday morning as Los Angeles was getting started on its quick turnaround and preparation for San Francisco. "... That was always something we left open as a possibility, but certainly don't want to rush it."

Meanwhile, cornerback Cobie Durant sustained a lung contusion (bruised lung). McVay said Durant is "going to be okay," but his status for Thursday is still to be determined.

McVay said if Durant's status is affected by his injury, "then that could definitely impact (cornerback) Emmanuel Forbes and some of the things that we do."

Additionally, wide receiver Demarcus Robinson sustained a shoulder sprain against the Bills, but "the hope is that it shouldn't affect his status (for Thursday)."
