THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The Rams have adjusted their joint practice plans this week, and will now be traveling to Oxnard for a joint practice with the Cowboys instead of going to El Segundo to conduct one with the Chargers.
According to the team, the change of plans is because it anticipated being in Woodland Hills with a shorter commute; it would have been a 3-hour roundtrip commute from Thousand Oaks. Oxnard is closer to Thousand Oaks, where their facility is still headquartered.
The Rams are aiming to make the move to Woodland Hills after their trip to Houston. That trip will take place the final week of the preseason and feature a joint practice with the Texans head of that preseason finale.
