Congratulations to our July Season Ticket Member of the Month, Robert Arendt! Robert became a Rams fan after his family moved to Glendale when he was 6 years old and he has been a fan ever since, staying loyal even throughout the St Louis days. When the team returned to Los Angeles, Robert became a Season Ticket Member. His favorite Rams memory is watching the games on TV in Fresno along with his Dad and Grandfather in the 60's, and his favorite player is Roman Gabriel. Read more about Robert below!
How long have you been a Rams STM?
Since moving back to LA I think 2017.
Share your story on how you became a Rams fan.
We first moved to Glendale when I was 6 years old in 1959. My father became a Dodger fan and then a Rams fan. I followed in his footsteps and have been a loyal Ram fan ever since. I stayed loyal even when they moved to St Louis. I was a huge Roman Gabriel fan and the fearsome foursome. My son is now a third generation Ram fan I think at times more than I am. I love the fact we have played in 3 Super Bowls and have won two plus more to come. I told myself that if the Rams moved back to LA I would become a season ticket holder which I fulfilled that promise I made to myself. I started with 4 seats at the Coliseum and now two seats at SoFi. I'm a very proud member of the Ram family and will enjoy coming to the games with my wife who became a Ram fan as well.
What is your favorite Rams memory?
Watching the Ram games in Fresno along with my Dad and Grandfather. Back then (in the 60's) I had to go on the roof and move the antenna so we could receive a signal from a Bakersfield channel.
What does being a Rams fan mean to you?
It means everything to me and my family. I have 4 full sized Ram helmets from the Roman Gabriel days to the present. I proudly display the helmets in my house for all to see.
Who is your favorite Rams player past or present? Why?
Roman Gabriel in the past especially due to being an American Indian in the day. Present would be Aaron Donald he is all class and takes care of business.
