The Rams used their third selection in the 2024 NFL Draft on Michigan running back Blake Corum, who was chosen in the third round, 83rd overall.
Here's what you should know about him:
1) Big on giving back
Last November marked the third-straight year Corum used money earned from Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities to buy 600 turkeys which were delivered to local families in Michigan.
2) Made history winning Big Ten Running Back of the Year
A two-time Ameche-Dayne Big Ten Running Back of the Year (2022-23) award-winner, Corum was the first winner of it in school history.
3) Program record-setter
Beyond the above recognition, Corum departed Ann Arbor as one of the most decorated running backs in Wolverines history by also setting the program single-season record for rushing touchdowns (27) and total touchdowns (28) as well as points scored (168; also a Big Ten record), all of which were accomplished last season.
He also concluded his career ranked seventh on Michigan's all-time rushing list (3,737 yards) and as the program's career record-holder in rushing touchdowns (58), total touchdowns (61), and career points scored (356).
