NFL.COM SAYS RAMS SHOULD TARGET THREE POSITIONS IN DRAFT
As the league's 32 teams continue their preparations for the annual NFL Scouting Combine, and later the NFL Draft, NFL.com's Dan Parr identified the biggest positions of need for each club.
For the Rams, Parr chose offensive line, edge rusher and linebacker. Both offensive line and linebacker popped up in multiple mock drafts recently.
"There could be big holes to fill on defense with LB Cory Littleton, edge rusher Dante Fowler and DL Michael Brockers ticketed for free agency, but the most pressing concern at this point is left tackle, where Andrew Whitworth, the NFL's oldest lineman, is a pending free agent," Parr wrote on Feb. 3.
(Note: NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday morning that Whitworth is expected to re-sign with the Rams.)
