RAMS vs. CHIEFS
On Wednesday, Southern California News Group's' Rich Hammond compared the Rams' and Chiefs' offenses ahead of Monday night's matchup.
Hammond says there isn't much difference between the two.
How They're Similar
1. Quarterbacks: Go ahead, find a major statistical difference between the Rams' Jared Goff and the Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes. Their attempts per game, yards per game, completion percentage and yards per attempt all are almost identical. They're both tall, lanky quarterbacks who can get the ball down the field quickly.
2. Efficiency: There are few wasted plays when it comes to these offenses, particularly in the pass game. Neither the Chiefs nor the Rams rank in the top half of NFL teams when it comes to pass attempts per game, yet they rank fourth and fifth, respectively, in passing yards per game.
3. Protection: Goff and Mahomes both are both reasonably agile, and both have been protected by solid offensive lines. The Chiefs have allowed only 17 sacks in 10 games, while the Rams have allowed 19. In a sack-per-attempt comparison, the Chiefs fare even better because they throw the ball more.
How They're Different
1. Play selection: The Rams have maintained a fairly tight run-pass balance, with 29.5 rushing attempts per game and 33.4 passing attempts per game. Even though the Chiefs have a fantastic, former 1,300-yard rusher in Kareem Hunt, they average only 24.7 rush attempts per game, which is 19th-most in the NFL.
2. Point distribution: This is an area that might be troubling for the Rams. The Chiefs' offense has been extraordinarily consistent, with a total of 92 points in the first quarter, 101 points in the second quarter and 92 points in the third quarter. It drops off in the fourth (68), likely because the Chiefs have held large leads.
3. Tight-end usage: The Rams increasingly have used Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee over the past month, but not anything close to the extent that the Chiefs use three-time Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce.

START 'EM, SIT 'EM WEEK 11
NFL.com's Michael Fabiano has advice for fantasy owners with Rams on their roster entering Week 11. Fabiano is predicting an offensive battle at the Coliseum on Monday night, and suggests fantasy owners start quarterback Jared Goff and wide receiver Robert Woods, and sit the Kansas City Chiefs defense.

Jared Goff vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Goff has been a stat-sheet stuffer in recent weeks, scoring 21-plus fantasy points in three straight games during which time he's thrown eight touchdown passes with just one interception. He is a virtual must-start against the Chiefs on Monday Night Football in what should be a very high-scoring affair among the stars in Hollywood.
Start of the Week - Robert Woods vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Woods has posted 70 or more yards in every game since Week 1, so he has a very safe floor in the world of fantasy football. He should be on the No. 1 wide receiver radar this week against the Chiefs in what should be a very high-scoring game in Los Angeles. The USC product should also see more targets with Cooper Kupp out of action.
Sit of the Week - Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Rams
The Chiefs defense has been hot in recent weeks, scoring at least nine fantasy points in three of their last four games. Unfortunately, a matchup against Jared Goff and the Rams couldn't be less favorable. Opposing defenses have averaged less than one fantasy point per game when facing the explosive Los Angeles offense.

ROOKIE REPORT
On Thursday, Bleacher Report's Paul Kasabian took a look at how each NFL team's rookie class has fared in 2018.
For the Rams, Kasabian says there isn't much to report:
Not much to take away from the Los Angeles Rams rookies
The Rams more or less punted on the 2018 draft as they rebuilt through trades and free agency.
The team only had one pick in the first three rounds and used it on offensive tackle Joseph Noteboom, who was taken 89th overall. Noteboom is stuck behind talented tackles Andrew Whitworth and Robert Havenstein on the depth chart.
There's really just not much to report here, as the Rams are the only team in the league where a rookie hasn't started at least one game. Defensive end John Franklin-Myers is the team's most notable producer with a sack and eight tackles.

NFL Films mic'd up head coach Sean McVay for Week 10's game against the Seahawks. The video captured some of McVay's play calls, the 32-year-old's enthusiastic presence on the sideline, as well as McVay breaking up a scuffle on the sidelines.
