Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp bounced back from a season-ending torn ACL in November 2018 to finish with 94 receptions for 1,161 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns – all team and career highs – while playing in all 16 games this past season.
Here are his top five plays from the 2019 season.
5) 50-yard reception vs. Bears, Week 11
Kupp's third-longest catch of the season set up a crucial touchdown in what would turn out to be a low-scoring game, setting up running back Todd Gurley's 1-yard touchdown run which gave the Rams a 10-0 halftime lead.
4) 6-yard touchdown catch vs. Cardinals, Week 17
A six-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jared Goff gave Kupp his 10th and final touchdown of the season. Only Kupp, Ravens tight end Mark Andrews (10) and Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay (11) finished with double-digit receiving touchdowns this season.
3) 11-yard touchdown catch vs. Browns, Week 3
Kupp's first touchdown of the season was also the first of two on Sunday Night Football against the Browns. In beating cornerback T.J. Carrie on a post corner route on 3rd and 11 from the Browns' 11, Kupp gave the Rams a 10-6 lead early in the third quarter. He recorded the most receptions he's had in a single game this season (11) on his way to finishing with 101 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
2) 66-yard reception vs. Saints, Week 2
If there were still questions about whether Kupp was at full strength coming off the ACL injury early in the season, this play erased all doubts. Although it was originally ruled a 67-yard touchdown catch, the reversal upon further review by the officials still set up the Rams at the Saints 1-yard line, with Goff scoring on a quarterback sneak. Kupp tallied seven receptions for 120 yards plus the touchdown in a 27-9 L.A. victory.
1) 65-yard touchdown catch vs. Bengals, Week 8
A play that only only was Kupp's best but one of the Rams' best this season, his long touchdown catch off a double-reverse flea flicker helped push L.A.'s lead to 17-10 just before halftime. Kupp finished with seven receptions for 220 yards plus the touchdown in a 24-10 Rams win over the Bengals at Wembley Stadium.
