Alaric Jackson 'tweaked' ankle in practice, but McVay thinks he'll be 'fine'

LOS ANGELES – Rams head coach Sean McVay on Monday said offensive lineman Alaric Jackson tweaked his ankle in the early parts of practice, but indicated the injury shouldn't be an issue.

"I think he's going to be fine," McVay said.

Additionally, Monday was a planned rest day for quarterback Matthew Stafford, who did not participate in practice.

"There's nothing wrong with him, he's good. This will be the only day that we'll approach like that," McVay said regarding Stafford. "It was really more about just the amount of throws that he would get in a week's time, and so it kind of worked out well to coincide with a day that we were going to be a lot heavier run emphasis."
