The Rams begin a stretch of two home games in five days by hosting the Raiders on Sunday at SoFi Stadium. Kickoff in Inglewood is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. pacific time on CBS.
Ahead of the contest, here are 3 Keys to winning for the Rams, presented by The Law Offices of Jacob Emrani (CallJacob.com).
1) Run the ball
Las Vegas enters this game allowing the 10th-most rushing yards per game (140.3); capitalizing on that will also be critical to limiting pressure on quarterback Matthew Stafford, especially with All-Pro edge Maxx Crosby on the other side of the line of scrimmage.
2) Minimize Bowers' impact
Rookie tight end Brock Bowers has been the top target in the Raiders' passing attack, no matter who has started at quarterback. Averaging 10.4 yards per reception, he's been a big-play threat whether gaining yards after the catch or hauling in a pass downfield.
3) Minimize Crosby's impact
Stafford and Rams coaches this week talked a lot about Crosby's relentless effort and how he never takes a play off. Awareness and discipline will be important from not only the offensive line, but also the running backs and tight ends, because it will take more than just the one lineman assigned to block him on a play to stall his pursuit.
